Class Info

Do I need to be in shape before I join?

Absolutely not!  That is why we are here!  All fitness levels are welcome.

 

How early should I arrive for my first Luna Fitness class?

We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class so we can welcome you and show you the ropes.

 

What do I need for class?

Just bring yourself and a water bottle.

 

I haven't worked out recently, can I join your workouts?

Of course!  It's all about you!  We offer many options showing you several variations for each exercise.  You can choose what works best for you today!  Our instructors are well-versed at making our workouts accessible to a wide range of fitness levels.  We welcome everyone at Luna Fitness!

 

What type of shoes should I wear?

Some of our classes - yoga, for example - are done barefoot but most classes require an athletic shoe.  A cross-training shoe is preferable for our workouts.

 

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

For our yoga classes we do not provide shared mats.  Please bring your own mat for these classes.

 

What do I need to bring for Powerstrike classes?

You will need bag gloves and/or hand wraps. Please bring these because they are not provided.  Luna does sell hand wraps for $12. Please contact us with any questions about either of these items.

 

What if I have suggestions about your schedule?

Please send them our way!  We want to hear from you and your feedback will help us make additions and changes to our schedule as we go.  Contact us at info@lunafitness.net.

 

What if I'm late to class?

It is not optimal, but if you enter before the warmup has been completed we ask that you check in on the iPad and do your best to not be a distraction to others.  Please make sure that you warm up thoroughly before moving into the heart of the workout.

 

Do you have a waitlist for classes?

Yes, all classes have a waitlist feature.  If it is more than 12 hours from the class start time, the first person on the waitlist will receive an email and they have 1 hour to confirm it they want the space.  If they don't respond then the second person on the waitlist will be contacted, and so forth.  If a space becomes available within 12 hours of class start time, everyone on the waitlist will be emailed immediately and it is first come first served.

How do I purchase a membership?

What options do I have for buying individual classes?

You have options!  If you'd like to purchase a group fitness class or training camp session, either individually or as an add-on to your membership, simply click on the desired class or session in our ClassFit software and you will be given the option to purchase that class.

 

How do I book a class?

Book your first class right through our software.  Just sign up and book!

 

Are children allowed to join?

We allow members 14 years and older.

 

Can I cancel a class I've booked?

Yes, you are charged at the time that you book the class but will get 100% refund if you cancel with more than 24 hours notice.  This applies to drop-in rates.  For memberships we ask as a courtesy to others that you cancel in our ClassFit software as soon as you know you can't make it.

 

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes, you may freeze your membership for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months per year for medical reasons with documentation or childbirth.

 

How does the 2x per week GF membership work?

This membership is very flexible!  You receive 8 sessions per month and you can use them whenever you want.  For example, you can use 3 classes one week, 2 classes the next two weeks and then 1 class the next week for a total of 8 classes that month.  You don't have to pick a certain class or a certain day.  Pick what you want when you want (based on availability).  This excludes Training Camp.

 

Logistics

Do you offer a free guest pass?

All first-time guests get your first class on us!  Use the following coupon code at checkout:  Luna123.  This excludes Training Camp.

 

Do you have a place for me to change?

Yes, we have restrooms where you can change and get ready for class.

 

Where can I store my things?

We have an area for backpacks, handbags and keys, visible to you at all times.  Please leave all valuables at home.

 

Where should I park?

We offer hassle-free parking!  There is a large parking lot next to our building.  Please take the stairs to the left of the main entrance up to the 2nd floor to access the studio.

 

Do you offer childcare?

No, we do not offer childcare.
